Valley Christian High School Boosts Student Communication and
Engagement using Digital Signage

Sterling, VA. July 28, 2015: Arizona’s top christian high school, Valley Christian High School (VCHS), has implemented the Mvix digital signage solution throughout their campus. The digital displays allows the school to customize the environment for different events and audiences from a single web based management portal. They present pertinent information and events, bell schedules, student life photos, twitter feeds, etc. that keep the feeds fresh and the students engaged.

VCHS, an avant-garde institution, recently launched a one-to-one technology program that goes beyond simply providing students with an iPad. This program is revolutionizing the way their faculty instruct and the way students learn, collaborate and engage with their peers and faculty. Traditional bulletin boards and printed posters can't keep up any more. One way that digital signage wins is that administrators aren’t restricted to communicating just one event or announcement. Zone-based displays allow administrators to present different content and media at the same time. The screens can give equal publicity to the school’s community service project, upcoming football game and PTO meetings. Another bonus is in the animations and graphics that traditional signage lacks. Students have become accustomed to multi-media presentations so signs that feature vibrant simulations and imagery are much more likely to catch their attention.
“The digital signs are de-cluttering our hallways by getting rid of bulletin boards and posters,” added Bryan. “We are able to customize the displays with content relevant for the school day, for prospective family events or for athletic events. This allows us to reach our targeted audiences with content that is relevant to their experience on our campus.”
Bryan and his team spent about a month researching different digital signage platforms. Their focus was getting a solution that would able them to access and control all of their displays from a single access point. They also wanted to be able to customize templates and deliver a wide-range of content. Mvix did not disappoint them.
“The Mvix solution has surpassed our expectations!” said Bryan. “The ability to schedule content for certain dates and times allows the system to nearly run itself. There is content just waiting for their time to come, and then they play when they’re supposed to and drop off the schedule. I can stage everything and walk away”.
